Simple fact is, Webmasters and Designers have had plenty of time to update their websites to meet Google’s new web standards. While many websites will get pushed down, it’s an easy fix.
Use Google’s Page Insights Tool to see what changes you need to make:
Type in your website, from here you can see how good your website really is on Mobile & Desktop. Focus on the ‘User Experience’ result.
Most WordPress websites will be okay: But consider enabling Jetpacks mobile-friendly feature and choose a theme that looks nice on Mobile.
Google wants mobile friendly websites to have:
- Large Text
- Easy to click links
- Correct screen fitting
- And friendly code
Google’s own tool, Page Insights will show most of this! It’s just a matter of tinkering with your website! It’s really not the biggest problem SEO’s & Marketers are making it out to be. If your website crashes it due to a few bad decisions, that can be fixed with a few easy tweaks. Nothing to worry about! 🙂
